According to UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund), nearly 85% of young people aged 15 to 24 are falling short in acquiring the skills needed for employment, particularly in secondary-level, digital, and job-specific competencies. These disparities disproportionately affect the poorest communities, exacerbating inequality and stalling societal and global economic progress. In Brazil alone, there are currently 9.6 million young adults who neither study nor work, highlighting the significance of the issue. This pressing scenario is exacerbated by ongoing climate, peace, and political crises experienced worldwide. It's imperative that youth are equipped to confront and innovate solutions to the challenges ahead. Despite being so important and life-changing for young people, such opportunities remain out of reach for many, especially low-income young people from public schools of Brazil.

In a survey we made, 95% of people said that they would have liked to know more about such activities early in life, and more than 91% said that their financial circumstances were already a barrier to their access to opportunities. Furthermore, the main complaints were the lack of trustworthy, up-to-date, centralized, and easy access to them. Currently, students waste a lot of time checking numerous sources, only to get frustrated as many channels have dated opportunities that didn't exist anymore. Or worse, low-income young people may get their hopes high only to later find that the opportunities they once desired have huge fees. That is the same situation that we found ourselves in many times before. Consequently, we want to change this for future generations and make the dreams of young Brazilians a reality.
